  HEROES MONUMENTS

In order to honor the people of the community who gave the most valuable thing they had , their own life for Cyprus freedom, the community of Phrenaros has erected a monument next to the Community Council Building, to honor the sacrificed and the missing persons of 1974.
The Pancyprian Federation of Greek Teachers together with the community, which offered the space, has erected the bust of the hero teacher, Photis Pittas in the centre of the community in 1961.

In 2007, the Parent Association of the Phrenaros Lyceum, that carries the name of the hero Photis Pittas, in cooperation with the School Committee, has erected the statue of the hero at the entrance of the school.
